Huge increase in the number of people seeking help – Christmas 2023.

The cost of living crisis was the main factor leading to a huge increase in those seeking help from Llangollen Food Share to feed themselves and their families. Over 60% more people were helped in the week before Christmas 2023 than in the previous year, from 100 to 160 people. 966kg of food was distributed – enough to provide 2400 meals.

Our mission is to make sure that everyone locally has enough food for themselves and their families to eat.

If you need our support, please contact us or call in at one of our sessions.

Our main aim is to make sure that no-one goes hungry.

The centre is at 36c Castle Street which faces the main Market Street car park in Llangollen. We are at the town end of the car park.

Most people who come to Llangollen Food Share live within 10 miles of the town.

As a Welsh charity our official name is bilingual – Rhannu Bwyd Llangollen or Llangollen Food Share. Rhannu means share, and Bwyd means food. The order of words in Welsh is different to English so…..

Our registered charity name is a combination of the Welsh and English versions:
